A duo frame of a small Cryptotympana Mandarina and the rather large and beautiful Pomponia Intermedia. The Pomponia genus contains the largest species on the planet.
Cicadas are known for living underground at the base of a tree for 17 years, feeding off it's sap and nutrients. After which they burrow out, climb the tree and transform into their adult form.

This cicada is presented in a high quality ready to hang, 12x12" wooden box frame, backed on premium textured cardstock.
