Specimen Grades

You may have noticed a letter and number next to certain items in my shop. This is the quality grade of the specimen in the frame. For the most part, they are perfectly intact, however, a few arrive with a few bumps and scrapes. That just makes them more unique! :) All differences will be mentioned in each listing.

Here is a rundown of what the certain letters and numbers mean and use it to assist you with your purchase:

A1: A perfect specimen. In more brittle/long-legged species there is a slight chance of leg damage. In this case, I fix them up if possible.

A1-:  Specimen has very mild antennae/limb damage, again I try to fix this if possible.

A-: These specimens may have mild scale loss on their wings, a flight wear scratches around the edge of the wing. Possible leg damage to species such as beetles

A2: A possibility of damage to the thorax of the specimen. Small rips/tears may be present on the wings. In beetles, there may be missing limbs or significant scratches to the body

Second Grade: The same as A2 but to a more significant degree.
